Tristam

In the Arthurian legends, Sir Tristam was second only to Lancelot in valour.

According to legend, he was sent to take Isould back from Ireland for King Mark of Cornwall. He fell in love with her on the way back. Love potion may or may not have been involved. The name Tristam may mean 'sad birth'.
