State University of New York at Cortland

The State University of New York at Cortland, also called SUNY Cortland, is located in Cortland, New York. Formerly specializing in training physical education teachers, this college offers degrees in 53 program areas. The college has a School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, a School of Education, and a School of Professional Studies. Cortland was founded in 1868 as Cortland Normal School. The current enrollment is about 7500 students.

This college lies midway between Syracuse, New York and Binghamton, New York.
