Second battle of Panipat

Akbar, who was coronated in the year 1556 due to his father's death, defeated Muhammad Shah Adali of Bengal and his Prime Minister Hemu at the 2nd Battle of Panipat. This defeat of Adlai and Hemu marked the end of Afghan power in India and perhaps gave the signal of the beginning of a glorious reign by Emperor Akbar.
