Perfect Strangers

Perfect Strangers was a televised sitcom on ABC which ran from 1986 through 1993. Its main characters were a regular American named Larry (Mark Linn-Baker) and his new-to-the-country cousin, Balki Bartakamous (Bronson Pinchot), from the (fictional) Greek island of Mepos.

Many episodes typically focused around Larry's greed getting the better of him, and having to be somehow bailed out by Balki, and many times involved elaborate dance numbers or stunts.

In later seasons, Larry and Balki were married, and together with their wives lived in a large house, a radical departure from the previous format.
