Orodreth (Steward)

Orodreth is in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth the sixteenth Ruling Steward of Gondor.

Orodreth succeeded his father Belecthor I at his death in 2655 Third Age. The Corsairs of Umbar were the major threat to Gondor at the time, although no major events are recorded.

He was followed by his son Ecthelion I at his death in 2685.
