North Nova is the name of a federal electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada. Its population is 87,507. (2001)

Geography

The district includes the counties of Cumberland, and Colchester and the northeastern part of the Halifax, Nova Scotia Regional Municipality. Communities include Halifax (part), Truro, Amherst and Springhill. The Area is 10,086 sq. km.

History

The electoral district was created in 2003, 93.6% from Cumberland—Colchester and 6.4% from Sackville—Musquodoboit Valley—Eastern Shore. The incumbent from the majority of the riding is Bill Casey of the Conservative Party of Canada.
