Laval—Les Îles

Laval-Les Îles is the name of a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada. Its population is 100,137. (2001)

Geography

The district includes the neighbourhoods of Îles-Laval, Laval-Ouest, Laval-sur-le-Lac, Sainte-Dorothée and the western part of the neighbourhood of Fabreville in the City of Laval.

History

The electoral district of Milles-Îles was created in 1976 from Laval. The name was changed to Laval West in 1990 and to Laval-Les Îles in 2004
