Ivy the Terrible

Ivy the Terrible is a fictional character who has her own comic strip in The Beano. She first appeared in issue 2233, dated 4 May 1985. The popularity of the character led to the strip being expanded to two pages from issue 2931 onwards (19 September 1998). It is about a four year old girl who annoys her parents. She seems to make her Mum exasperated a lot. Her name is a play on Ivan the Terrible. The strip was drawn by Robert Nixon until his death in 2002, and the current artist is Tony O'Donnell.
