EMBRAER 190

The EMBRAER 190 is a twin engine jet aircraft developed by EMBRAER. Depending on the seat configuration, the EMBRAER 190 seats between 94 and 106 passengers. The EMBRAER 190 competes with other aircraft in the 100 passenger market, including the Boeing 717 and Airbus A318.

The EMBRAER 190 is a member of the EMBRAER E-Jets series. The E-Jets are a family of aircraft targeted at the 70-110 passenger jet aircraft market for short to medium hauls. There is a great deal of commonality to the EMBRAER E-Jets series.

As of 31 December 2003, EMBRAER reports 110 firm orders for the EMBRAER 190 including an order of 100 aircraft from JetBlue Airways, with an option for an additional 100 aircraft.
