Barcelona Metro

The Barcelona Metro consists of five lines, numbered L1 to L5. They run as follows:

• L1 (Red): Hospital de Bellvitge - Fondo
• L2 (Purple): Paral.lel - Pep Ventura
• L3 (Green): Zona Universitaria - Canyelles
• L4 (Yellow): Trinitat Nova - La Pau
• L5 (Blue): Cornella - Horta

There are also three metro lines operated by the FGC (Catalan National railways) which are numbered L6 to L8:

• L6: Pl. Catalunya - Reina Elisenda
• L7: Pl. Catalunya - Av. Tibidabo
• L8: Pl. Espanya - El Moli Nou

There is also another line, L11, which is a tram from Trinitat Nova to Torre de Baro.

Work is taking place currently on L9.
