Storage

For long-term storage of antibody containing supernatant or serum, add sodium azide to the final concentration of 0.1%. Antibodies in general are stable at 4 °C for months. Or store at -20 °C or -70 °C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freeze and thaw.

Purified antibodies are frequently stored in PBS/0.1% sodium azide (or 0.1% sodium azide). Store at 4 °C temperaturely or freeze at -20 °C or -70 °C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freeze and thaw.

Antibodies may also be lyophilized and stored at 4 °C to -70 °C.
